New moon in Aquarius - chasing lifelong dreams & re-inventing yourself

Recently, I have been experiencing one of my biggest spiritual awakenings to date. This came with great sadness, loneliness, fear, depression and anxiety. It also came with feelings of anger and resentment that I am still struggling to release over many years. Throw in mercury retrograde and you have yourself a spiral.

But this time it feels different because I am no longer giving in to the intrusive thoughts and avoiding life, I am thanking them. I thank my anxious mind for trying to protect me, reassure myself, then let go. I don't beat myself up anymore if I don't fulfil every single thing I wanted to do that day, and instead find gratitude in what I DID achieve. I give my soul and my body what it needs. The feeling of self-care is exhausting because maybe on some level I feel I don't deserve it, but I deserve it so much, so I still get up and shower and try my best.

It's a journey.

That's why I will be taking a break from all things social for the first time to completely throw myself into TRULY healing, shadow work, and focussing on my projects. I also held a 'funeral' for my old self, to really embody the feeling of physically letting everything go, allowing for space to breathe and start fresh.

And it timed perfectly for the new moon.

This new moon in Aquarius is shifting our mindsets to think big with its gorgeous, ambitious energy; meaning we can set our intentions and goals for the new year, starting on a positive, refreshed note after the full moons release period.

You can find my full ritual and advice on what you can do this evening over on my Instagram as well as below.

I hope you feel the benefits from practising these rituals yourselves, and I will be collecting and observing which habits and activities that I will be practising over this next month that actually benefited me, which if you're interested I can share.

But if you would like to start tomorrow with me, the below will be a great start:

- Clean out your phone and delete any apps that are toxic to you.

- Take a break from socials

- Once you have shed the old 'you' in whatever way you feel is right for you, start re-inventing yourself. How will the new you look? feel? act? Start integrating this into your life little by little.

- Start writing a list of all the projects you have wanted to do, but haven't because of distractions.

- Incorporate healthy habits into your day like taking a short walk at lunch and drinking more water.

- Use the time you would usually spend scrolling on your phone conducting shadow work, or journaling. This is a great way to navigate healing.

- Look into therapy/tools.

Happy New Moon beauties. x
